It makes you genuine; and most prospects will relate to that.
If you've only used language like "I've been in real estate for 20 years and pride myself on customer service", then you're going to love the results you get when you tell your story like this:
"I grew up in a small town, dreaming of a great loft in the city. I'll always remember the tears of joy I had when I purchased what I'd imagined growing up. After that experience, I decided to get into real estate because I was just so passionate about it. In fact, my first sale was in that very same building!"
This is just an example, but whatever your story is, tell it!
